Hello Manta Ray families,

I hope you had a great Memorial Day weekend! We have two very important events this week.

Mock Meet
Our mock meet is this Saturday, June 1st. We need everyone to locate the mock meet under https://harpersmillswimteam.swimtopia.com/swim_mee... and do two things:

1. Click the Meet Entry button and mark your swimmer as Attending. This is called "declaring."

2. Click the Job Signup button and mark yourself as volunteering. There's only one job listed for the mock meet because we will be rotating to all the positions--check the box next to Volunteer Training - Mock Meet.

It's imperative that you declare your children no later than Wednesday, May 29, so that they will be listed on the heat sheet for Saturday. If you think you already declared your child, just take a peek and make sure they are listed as attending.

For Saturday, arrive at 7:15 and have the kids ready for warm-ups at 7:30. The meet will start at 8:00, and we will be out of there by 10:00.

This will be a great opportunity to learn (or be reminded) about how meets are run and how we can help out, so please attend if you are able to!

Strokes and Turns Training
If you're interested in becoming a strokes and turns judge this season, the free  training will be held Wednesday, May 29, 5:30-6:30 p.m. at the Glenmoor Oaks Clubhouse in Magnolia Green (18101 Golden Bear Trace, Moseley, VA 2312). If you've already done the training, you don't need to do it again, but you are welcome to attend if you want a refresher.
