Hello Manta Ray families,

This Tuesday we will host our first home meet, and this is a perfect opportunity to get a team photo. Have your swimmer at our pool at 4:45 dressed in their navy and gold HMST swimsuits. Caps and goggles are not needed for the picture. We will do individual photos the week of July 8 (more to follow).

After taking the photo, we will switch into meet mode. Swimmers should check in with the coaches, and first and second half volunteers should check in with Megan McCloud at the blue announcer stand.

Our team can set up chairs and tents in the grassy area outside the left side gate. Please don’t block the gate or sidewalk. Westerleigh will sit on the right side of the pool (see attached map). Please leave the covered area near the clubhouse free for old folks and spectators with special needs.

The timer and strokes and turns judge meeting will be at 6:10 near the main pool entrance.

The Rosie’s Kitchen food truck will be in the parking lot (menu attached), and O’ How Sweet will be selling cotton candy and lemonade. The concession stand will be situated at the bar this year, and we will be selling drinks, snacks, and cookies made specially for us by And It Tastes Good Too bakery.

If it’s possible for your family, please consider parking in the neighborhood or on Elementary Way Loop so that we can let some of our guests use the parking lot.

Please let your swimmer stick around for the relays to cheer on their teammates. We also may have to tag your child in. Relays get us major points, so if someone has to drop out, we need to be able to sub someone else in!
